Found the website and all seemed very good- they had the car I particularly wanted. The only problem was I had to wait from mid Aug09 to mid Oct to even see the RAC report. Having read the report we were not happy with some of comments and repairs to the body work that the car had suffered in the last three years. However, we were to collect the car on a Friday - you have to take time off work as they are only open Mon-Fri and close at five! But I gets a call saying they did not have all the paperwork to give me, so we had to wait another week before it was convenient to collect. In the meantime we had a long hard look at the reports again and decided, as we were not happy with the car and all the delays that were not of our making, not to proceed. I was promised my £75 back within 3 - 5 days but 10 days later it was still not in the bank, so I had to ask them again, and after this the deposit was returned. Buying a car should not be made this difficult. In the end we went to a dealer (opened 7 days) and drove away in 3 days after the car had been serviced! Carsite do checks - they do not service the car or correct any obvious faults, so if anything goes wrong and you didn't take out a warranty, the cost is down to you.
They say lots of people are very happy with the service they provide, but I have yet to meet one. Also the car was only marginally cheaper than the one we purchased which did include a warranty in the price. If you want my advice, if you are prepared to wait for ages and get slow service and take time out of your holidays and end up buying a pig in a poke, then Carsite is the one for you.
